Casper Rila is a Rotterdam-based photographer. After graduating cum - laude from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam with a bachelor's degree in fine arts, he completed his master's degree in photography at the Art Academy Sint Joost in 2006.

Since then, he has developed his own style in commercial photography. His work is characterised by a rich use of light and original, atypical locations. He makes editorial work for magazines, among others for Esquire, Runner' s World, FD Persoonlijk and Wired, and he has been commissioned for large campaigns by advertising and design agencies such as Triple Double, CPNB, George & Harrison, Studio Beige and brands such as Philips, Powerhouse , Red Company, Opel, Trek Bikes, Mizuno and many others. For photo and video projects, he works with an extensive network of graphic designers, models, stylists and art directors, who share his high standards, project loyalty and sense of detail.
